Back to 6 is a dramatized concert that presents the songs from the CD of the same name by the vocal ensemble CODA. The staging and direction of the concert follows a dramatic thread that adds drama and touches of humor, and adds to the enjoyment of the interpretation of the pieces.
The repertory is difficult to pigeonhole in one single style: you can certainly find jazz, but also samba, son, hip-hop, pop, gospel, and songs that bring the audience to their feet dancing.

It is a selection of songs that has inspired CODA, some of the songs have been arranged by members of CODA themselves, and in other cases by well-known vocal arrangers such as Bill Gard or Tina Brook.

¿ And why Back to 6?

The recording of this album has made possible for the first time the reunion of all 6 ¨CODAs¨, in that former regular Sonia Rodríguez, recently living and working in London, has re-joined the group for the recording and certain special performances. Now she is back to Barcelona so we are Back to 6!.
Back to 6 (Columna Música) is our second album and first theatrical spectacle. We have put ourselves in the capable hands of stage director David Vert, who with his insight and savoire faire has captured their idiosyncrasies and has created a show both entertaining and profound.
